John Champlin Gardner (July 21, 1933 – September 14, 1982) was an American novelist & teacher. He was natural withwithin 1933 in Batavia, New York. He was the popular & controversial figure until his demise, when riding the bike, around 1982.

Gardner's father was the lay-preacher & dairyman & his mother was an English teacher at the local school. As a toddler, Gardner attended public school & worked in his father's domestic, around which he inadvertently flushed his brother in an accident using the cultipacker.
